Baseball (Rising Grades 2–3)
Location: Waynflete Fore River Campus (283 Osgood St)

Baseball Half Day: 9:00 a.m.–noon
Waynflete’s Athletic Director, Ross Burdick, and high school baseball mentors will join players rising to Grades 2 and 3 on the baseball diamond for mornings of pitching, batting and baseball strategy. Young players will improve their skills while having fun playing the game. Players will practice ball throwing, passing, and game skills in order to gain confidence. Players will gain an understanding of how baseball strategy can change during a game depending on the number of outs and the count on the batter.

Baseball – Tennis Full Day: 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
After lunch, campers will hit the Waynflete tennis courts to learn and play! Coach Mary Gray teaches the basics in a way that makes learning the game accessible and fun for all levels of players. Campers will learn and master basic tennis skills – proper racket grip, forehands, backhands, volleys, overheads, and scoring. Opportunities for light-hearted match play will give campers the full picture of the game. Tennis camps will balance time on the court with a variety of fun activities to keep campers actively engaged.
