Is there a better way to celebrate summer than with a little time on the diamond? This camp will focus on age-appropriate skill development and fun. Everyday will begin with team warm-up activities. Then we will work on throwing, fielding, hitting, and base-running—taught and practiced through skill drills and fun competitions. We will also play a few innings (every day if time permits). We have some gloves and bats on hand, but campers are encouraged to bring their own equipment.

After lunch campers will hit the Waynflete tennis courts to learn and play! Coach Mary Gray teaches the basics in a way that makes learning the game accessible and fun for players at all skill levels. Campers will learn and master basic tennis skills: proper racket grip, forehands, backhands, volleys, overheads, and scoring. Opportunities for light-hearted match play will give campers the full picture of the game. Tennis camps will balance time on the court with a variety of fun activities to keep campers actively engaged.

No camp on Tuesday, July 4.
