This week will be an imaginative blend of art, music, and science. Experiential learning via fun, hands-on projects and experiments will be our vehicle to explore and compare the wave properties of light and sound. We will discuss the electromagnetic spectrum and use prisms to help us uncover the different wavelengths of visible light. Creative play with mirrors will anchor our lessons on the myriad of ways that light and sound interact with various materials and surfaces. It will be a lively week of discovery. Bring your curiosity!
