Outdoor Traveling Dungeons and Dragons (STEAM Camp)

Outdoor Traveling Dungeons & Dragons (Rising Grades 5–9) (View all STEAM Camps)
Location: Waynflete School (360 Spring Street)

Full Day
8:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Join the fantasy world of dragons and heroes through this collaborative storytelling game, while making the most of our beautiful Maine summertime. D&D campers get to immerse themselves in the imaginative role-playing game – but with a twist! Each day brings a new outdoor game location – a beach, rocky shore, city park, the ruins of a fort. Bring your imagination; Camp will provide the dice, dungeon masters and transportation to off campus locations. *Health and Safety: Camp activities will run in compliance with Waynflete’s multi-layered Covid safety protocols. Camp programs will run outdoors, as possible. Face masks and social distancing will be required indoors and outside, with additional distancing requirements during snack/eating times. Bus transportation will be limited to under 15 minutes; passengers will be distanced and masked on the bus, consistent with Waynflete’s bus safety protocols. See more about Camp’s safety guidelines on the homepage. (transportation included)

“Mike and the D&D team helped bring our son out of his shell in a safe, supportive, and creative setting. In addition to an amazing camp program to look forward to each morning, our son, who can be filled with trepidation about group settings (especially in times of social distancing), was eager to get to camp to be around such great counselors and campers.” – Parent of a middle school camper

“Mike is a national treasure. Never lose him. His calm way with kids is perfect. They know he likes them and respects them.” – Parent of a middle school camper
