Summertime Arts (Rising Grades 2–5)

If you enjoy art—designing and making all sorts of things—you will enjoy Summertime Arts, Waynflete’s traditional decades-old arts and crafts program where campers work with several teaching artists each week to explore different art forms, styles, colors, and media. Our teaching artists emphasize the creative process so campers develop enriching life skills, lasting enjoyment, and confidence in their ability as a “maker.” Each week will focus on several different media, including drawing, painting, printing, sewing, ceramics, loom weaving, sculpture, collage, puppetry, textile design, jewelry, needle-felting, and handmade crafts of all sorts.
