Tennis : Rising Grades 2–8
Location: Waynflete Fore River Campus (283 Osgood St)

Half Day Tennis Camp

Campers will hit the Waynflete tennis courts to learn and play! Coach Mary Gray teaches the basics in a way that makes learning the game accessible and fun for developing tennis players. Campers will improve tennis skills: forehands, backhands, overheads and volleys. Opportunities for light-hearted match play will give campers the full picture of the game. Masks required. Social distancing will be required on and off the court and incorporated into drills and game play.

Full Day Tennis Camp:

Coach Mary Gray will gear this camp to middle school players, beginners to advanced level. Campers will enjoy an energetic pace for games and drills to improve forehands, backhands, volleys, overheads and serving. Specialized games and match play will improve game strategy, for both singles and doubles, improve the player’s focus on each point, and encourage light-hearted competitive play. Masks required. Social distancing will be required on and off the court and incorporated into drills and game play.
