Eco-Explorers Nature Camps
1st Grade – 6th Grade
Based at Waynflete’s beautiful Nature Classroom at our Fore River Campus, Eco-Explorers will seek out Maine’s diverse natural habitats through outdoor adventures, hands-on science, nature journaling, stories, nature-based crafts, games, free-choice time, and more! In 2026, campers will head off-site once a week to go on a field trip to explore the natural world. Is your Eco-Explorer ready to dig for salamanders, hold frogs, and explore the marsh muck with their new friends? We are!

Eco-Explorers: Backyard Biologists
June 22–26, 2026

Cost: $445
Get ready for a week full of hands-on projects, creative fun, and outdoor adventures! Backyard Biologists will craft bug hotels, race through a nature obstacle course, discover amazing animals, make music, and play awesome nature games. Every day will bring new chances to learn, create, and explore as we make memories and have tons of fun! Campers will also take a weekly field trip to a nearby natural wonder to observe and explore using their newly discovered biologist skills.

Grab your wand and join us in the woods for a week full of magic! Hunt for spell ingredients, mix up your own potions, and test your skills at broomstick riding. Craft owl-themed treasures, enchanted bookmarks, and discover tons of magical surprises along the way. Adventure awaits around every corner! Campers will travel to nearby Mackworth Island State Park to discover and add to the enchanted Fairy House and Gnome Village.
