Summertime Arts Camp
2nd Grade – 5th Grade
If you enjoy art—designing and making all sorts of things—you will enjoy Summertime Arts, Waynflete’s traditional decades-old arts and crafts program in which campers work with teaching artists to explore different art forms, styles, colors, and media. Our teaching artists emphasize the creative process so campers develop enriching life skills, a love of art, and confidence in their ability as “makers.”

Jump into summer vacation with our ‘Fun in the Sun’ themed art week. Campers will create art inspired by all of their warm weather favorites: sandcastles, seashells, surfing and summer fun! Projects this week may include: drawing, painting, textile art, collage and more! Campers will travel to three art classes each day to work in small groups with our talented art teachers. Join us on Friday afternoon for a camper-led art show!

Hotdogs, cupcakes and pizza, oh my! Join us for our ‘Food Frenzy’ themed week where campers will create artworks inspired by their favorite tasty treats. Projects this week may include: drawing, painting, air dry clay creations, collage and more! Campers will travel to three art classes each day to work in small groups with our talented art teachers. Join us on Thursday afternoon for a camper-led art show! No camp on July 3.
