Waynflete’s professional coaches provide a foundation in sports skills, techniques, and strategies of the game while also bringing the summer camp fun! Campers explore the rules and techniques of team sports and skill-building through friendly competitions and challenges.

Girls Field Hockey Camp

Waynflete Middle School Coach Maura Bisogni will lead field hockey players rising to grades 3–8 in this full day camp. Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the fundamentals or an experienced player aiming to refine your skills, this camp is for you! Players will improve their stick skills, shooting, and defensive play through drills and fun games and will build their tactical knowledge and teamwork through competitive play and full field scrimmages. Players will be split into age and skill appropriate groups as needed.

Waynflete soccer coaches Will Burdick and Jesse McDonough, members of the Waynflete high school coaching staff, and current Waynflete varsity players will create a fun and dynamic environment where athletes of all skill levels can develop their abilities, build confidence, and foster a love of soccer. Campers will celebrate the FIFA Men’s World Cup and focus on improving technical skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and defending. Tactical awareness, team play, and strategy will also be emphasized through engaging drills, small-sided games, and full-field scrimmages. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the sport, this camp promises to be an exciting and rewarding week! Campers will leave with a better understanding of the game and tools to help them improve and prepare for their upcoming fall season. We can’t wait to see you on the field! Campers may be split by gender as applicable.

Ultimate Frisbee is one of the fastest growth sports in the country! Join the movement by registering for Waynflete Ultimate Camp, hosted by Maine Ultimate! Camp counselors and directors will lead a fun-filled week of games, drills, strategy, and instruction for kids of all abilities. This camp is great for kids of all abilities who want to learn more about the game, as well as about themselves as an Ultimate enthusiast! Our focus is on improving throwing and catching techniques, learning the rules, becoming an impact player, as well as Spirit of the Game. Our special guests and challenges will keep the week exciting, helping to make your child’s summer one of the most memorable yet!
All players will receive a Maine Ultimate Reversible Jersey and Disc!
