Flyers Camps
Kindergarten – 2nd Grade
Based in Waynflete’s beautiful classrooms and amazing outdoor spaces, campers will jump right into summer fun with themed sessions that include art and building activities, storytelling, music, group games, and plenty of free play! Each week we’ll venture out on field trips via bus or our own two feet to art museums, parks, beaches, and more!

X marks the spot during this week of exploration in Flyers Camp. Campers will make maps, sing sea shanties, and go on a scavenger hunt at Willard Beach while keeping their eyes peeled for pirate ships!

RAWR! For Flyers dreaming of prehistoric creatures, Dinosaur Discoveries will take campers back in time to investigate all things dino. Campers will take a trip to the Desert of Maine and act as archaeologists in a mock fossil dig. No camp on July 3.

Chickens, cows, and goats – Oh my! In this barnyard themed week, Flyers will get their Old McDonald on, make critter themed art, and head to Pineland Farms to check out the farm-yard animals.

Caution: Flyers at work! Calling all campers ready to imagine, plan, and build. Flyers this week will create their own Rube Goldberg machines, construct with blocks and legos, and make their own kites to fly at Bug Light Park.

From lobsters living at the bottom of the sea to cuddly seals relaxing on rocks, Flyers will dive deep into the mysteries of Maine’s ocean waters and the lighthouses along Maine’s coast. Campers will take a trip to Crescent Beach to discover the wonder of tidepools, make sandcastles, and play at the shore line.

Magic is in the air this week as Flyers make potions, cast silly spells, and wave their wizard wands. Campers will go to Mackworth Island State Park to explore and build whimsical fairy houses and enchanting gnome homes.
