Summer at Waynflete usually runs for six weeks each year. To extend our camp season in 2026, we are partnering with Maine Warrior Gym to offer Ninja Camp in June, and running End of Summer Splash! in August. Join us in these bonus camps for an extra 2 weeks of Summer at Waynflete fun!
Ninja Camp
June 15–19, 2026

Send your camper on an exhilarating adventure at Maine Warrior Gym’s (MWG) Parkour and Ninja Warrior Camp! Designed to inspire lifelong health, confidence, and goal achievement, this camp is the perfect blend of fun, fitness, and friendship! From climbing the infamous Warped Wall from American Ninja Warrior to mastering rope swings and monkey bars, your child will be engaged and excited from start to finish. Whether your child is trying Parkour for the first time or aiming to refine their Ninja skills, the MWG team is there to guide them every step of the way. Their one-of-a-kind obstacle course is designed to be age-appropriate and challenging, featuring vaults, rings, rock climbing, and more. These exciting elements help kids overcome obstacles not just physically but also mentally. At MWG, it’s not just about physical training; it’s about creating a supportive community where kids can make new friends, gain confidence, and learn to move their bodies in new and exciting ways. Campers will be split into two groups by age. Aftercare is available at MWG until 5 p.m. for an additional fee. MWG will run camp on 6/19.

Build your personal finance skill$ with this FREE five-day intensive course
presented by the Finance Authority of Maine (FAME) and Waynflete School. Topics
will include budgeting, credit, taxes, saving, investing, education, economics,
insurance, and more.
Location: Waynflete School, 360 Spring Street, Portland, Maine
Instructors: Steve Kautz, AFC®, Financial Education Programs Specialist at FAME. Additional guests and instructors TBA.
Snacks and drinks provided (bring your own lunch)
Free for Maine high school students (rising 9 through ’26 graduates)
Includes return service project requirement for the school year ’26 – ’27 (mentor provided)

Join us for a bonus week of Summer at Waynflete fun as we head out on a different field trip EVERY DAY! We will splash around at Aquaboggin Water Park, take the ferry to Peak’s Island, build sand castles at a local beach, travel inland for a relaxing day by the lake, and try every slide at Splashtown. Campers will be accompanied by Life Guard certified staff members, and safety is our number one priority while we adventure around Maine.
