K-1 Camp
Based in Waynflete’s beautiful K–1 classroom and amazing outdoor spaces, rising kindergarten and grade 1 campers will jump right into summer fun with themed sessions that include arts and building activities, storytelling, music, group games, and plenty of free play! Each week we’ll venture out on field trips via bus or our own two feet to art museums, parks, beaches, and more!
Flyers Camp: Skies and Stars
June 17–21, 2024 (four days)

Flyers soar into summer with projects centered on the world above our heads. Using wind, clouds, and outer space as topics, we will explore the connection between art and science. No camp on June 19.
Flyers Camp: Colors and Combinations

Rainbows are just the beginning as Flyers learn about prisms and color mixing. And we won’t stop there, delving into the “secret language” of color associations as we explore patterns and abstract art.
Flyers Camp: Freshwater and Forests
July 1–5, 2024 (four days)

Flyers will spend the week learning how rivers flow, what dams do, and how beavers are as efficient as we are at building them. They’ll also explore the forest ecosystems that frequently flank freshwater. No camp on July 4.

KA-POW! Summer is speeding by, and it’s time for Flyers to re-imagine themselves as the kind of superheroes we look up to. While we talk and read about what makes each of us heroic, Flyers will craft pieces of their costumes one accessory at a time.
Flyers Camp: Our Oceans
July 15–19, 2024

A deep dive into the sea! Flyers will explore the macro (the larger-than-life creatures and ecosystems of the deep) and return to shore to study the micro (tidepools that capture a miniature version of the whole ocean)!
