Macy Galvan – Camp Director
Macy Galvan comes to Waynflete SUMMER from years of working in the education sector. Most recently, Macy returned to Maine from serving in the Peace Corps in Armenia (2018–2020). Having worked in schools and nonprofits, Macy has experience coordinating and implementing several projects at once. She is passionate about sustainable living, hiking, camping with her dog, Pushkin, and spending time in her garden.
Tessa Anable – Director of Enrichment
Tessa Anable leads Waynflete’s Enrichment office, designing and running auxiliary programs, like Waynflete SUMMER camps, Afterschool programs, and Enrichment workshops with local teaching artists. She loves the creative process and hopes these programs inspire others to tap into their creativity. Tessa spends time off on DIY projects, designing and making stuff, and enriches her life by sketching, painting, paddle boarding, running, and being outdoors.
Peter Griffin – Enrichment Assistant
Peter Griffin has assisted with implementing restorative justice practices in elementary school classrooms in Lewiston, ME and also led students on wilderness trips around the country. Last year, he managed enrichment classes and afterschool care for the Lower School at the Berkeley Carroll School in Brooklyn, NY. He is very excited to be here at Waynflete and looks forward to a great year!
